VNC on PI 3 is - see only half of desktop?

Hello ,
up until now I used vnc with PI 2 - everything works great
now I started to use PI3 - but when I enter using VNC - I get only half of the screen
I have try to change all scaling in the Propoties
but nothing .

can't see the destop as I would if I'm connection using HDMI cable

so what to do ?

i'm assuing it's PI 3 issue and not VNC?

When no HDMI monitor is connected the RPi reverts to low resolution composite mode.
Use the GUI config tool or sudo raspi-config to set a specific resolution (not default).
