i don't know how but my top left raspberry pi icon/drop down menu icon disappeared. see attached. Can someone tell me how to get it back?
Please help me i am fond of the icon, and operating it as a normal desktop.
Disclaimer... if my name doesn't give it away and this thread in the hopefully correct group. i am new to this and the lingo. layman terms please haha

Right click on the taskbar and click [Add / Remove Panel Items]
Select [Panel Applets] tab if not already.
Click [Add]
Scroll down and select [Menu] then click [Add]
Click [Up] or [Down] to move the Menu icon to the location that you want. (Move to top of the list for far left position)
If the icon has changed then click to select menu then click [Preferences] then browse to find:
/usr/share/raspberrypi-artwork/launch.png
