How to connect sensor AND touchscreen to Pi

HI all.
Im a total newbie at pi and electronics and am struggling to get off the ground with this project because the installation guide for my thermal sensor doesnt explain everything fully https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-amg ... mal-camera

I want to connect the thermal sensor and the 3.5 inch touchscreen to the pi at the same time. I figured I needed the cobbler to connect the GPIO pins to a breadboard but now I don’t know how to also connect the touchscreen at the same time. Normally the touchscreen fits directly on the GPIO pins on the Pi but this will be used by the cobbler.
Do you know what I should do?

The instructions above show everything but how to connect the screen at the same time, it just says 'You can also use direct wires, we happen to have a Cobbler ready. remember you can plug the cobbler into the bottom of the PiTFT to get access to all the pins!'

But the cobbler connects directly to the GPIO on the pi and there is nothing for the display to connect to.

If your screen came with decent documentation, you could use some jumper wires to connect the screen to the pi via the Pi Cobbler and the breadboard.

Alternatively there are products like the pHAT stack (https://thepihut.com/collections/raspbe ... phat-stack) which will allow you to connect a few different HATs at once.

Google Raspberry pi gpio replicator or raspberry pi gpio adapter plate - they seem to start at about £5 ($6?) or $2.70 if you can wait for the slow boat from China.

Do you mean as long as the there are no clashes for the pins with the thermal camera? The thermal camera needs power, SDA, SCL and ground and thats it. Not sure how I would find what pins the screen needs connecting to though, ill have a search.
