Tutorial - Basic GPIO pin interaction - Light up LED with python script

Mon May 14, 2018 7:38 pm

Hi Y'all :D

I am very new to Raspberry Pi world and wanted to share my first (basic) tutorial https://youtu.be/RQBWbrSExEk on how to light up LED using Raspberry PI via a Python program. I would love to hear from other Raspberry Pi users their thoughts and ideas on what can be done next!

Thanks!

A good start, well done! Especially liked that you explained the breadboard.

Have you seen the gpiozero Python library? It is excellent for those new to the Pi and makes the code so much more readable.

Hi.

Have you looked at the parents guide for ideas on what else can be connected to the gpio

https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/pro ... -computing

I would guess that's when many people get there first taste of using the gpio.
