Problem in Interfacing MCP3428 with Raspberry Pi

Mon Apr 16, 2018 8:19 am

I am trying to interface MCP3428 with Raspberry PI for reading the signals but after connecting it with PI and checking the I2C connections with raspberry pi, I am not able to read the address value of IC.
I am using the attached schematic for connections

I suggest that initially you connect one MCP3428 with a breadboard to simplify the wiring. I would get that and the software working so you have a known working baseline.

You shouldn't need the pull-up resistors as the Pi has them fitted already to the SDA/SCL GPIO. I doubt you need the capacitors either for a quick test.

Initially I'd just connect SDA/SCL, ground/power, and the address pins. I'd connect the address pins to ground.
