Bluetooth Connection Failed - Pi 3

Sun Apr 15, 2018 4:01 am

I am trying to connect a device to Raspberry Pi 3 via Bluetooth. When attempting to connect, the following shows :
Connection failed - GDBus.Error.org.bluez.Error.Failed: Input/output error
Any idea why? I have this 2 same device, and the other one connects fine. I will appreciate any help, thank you.

Connecting to what? And for what purpose; streaming audio (from? To?), HID, file transfer, networking, serial communication, BLE?

Trying to connect a Nintendo Wii remote for gaming. The first remote works fine but the other doesn't. I don't have any idea why.

Do you mean one remote works and one doesn't, or the first one to pair works but then the second one doesn't?

In other words, are you trying to pair two devices to the Pi and the process is failing on the second pairing?

No. I just need to pair 1. I want to use the 2nd remote (a newly bought one) as main but the issue above ensued.
