UPS for proper shutdown of Rpi 3

Hey all!

Small background: we are building a 3D printer with a Duet Ethernet connected to a Rpi 3 and the Rpi will be connected to a touchscreen.

Of the things we are worried about is improper shutdowns of the Rpi 3 since it runs an OS (unlike the Duet which is embedded).

So we are thinking of getting an UPS for the Rpi which will intelligently detect improper shutdowns and keep the Rpi 3 powered until it can cycle through its shutdown.

Since our team is new to Rpi's, I wanted to consult you experts before we buy.

There is quite a lot of discussion on UPSs for the Pi at https://tech.scargill.net/?s=ups

One thing to check for is if your chosen UPS will automatically switch the Pi back on when the power supply is restored.
