big touch screen

Wed Dec 06, 2017 11:54 am

Hey
I have a Acer T272HL Touch screen that I have connected to my raspberry Pi 3. The screen part works great but the touch part don't work.

The screen are suppose to be a "kiosk" pc where people can put in information on a webpage.

The screen is connected via HDMI and a USB.

my linux version:
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)"
NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="9"
VERSION="9 (stretch)"

Any one have any good tips? I have tried googling but nothing that I found worked.

The only thing that worked to get this screen to work was using `dwc_otg.speed=1` in /boot/cmdline.txt

Really a bummer, Dell stopped making their glass panel touch screen which worked flawlessly with the Raspberry Pi, so we were stuck with Acer which is pretty much the last manufacturer of reasonably priced glass panel touch screens.
