raspivid and screenshot [solved]

Hello

Its possible to take an screenshot while raspivid its running, i tried but screen goes black for a moment while tacking the screenshot.

Not easily. There is the dispmanx snapshot function that could do it IIRC, but in general, the video output is superimposed over the Linux framebuffer, so the usual screenshot programs don't even know it is there.

I do seem to remember an app that does a snapshot using dispmanx, Google might find it.

I think im using the app you mentioned

But when i run it i get a black screen while taking snapshot

This is the line causing the black

In fact im making an app implementing raspivid and want to take a screenshot so implemented the screenshot code also, but im getting a black screen. So i tried only with raspivid and the screenshot app to make sure that i want to do something that its possible.....
