Mon Jun 19, 2017 7:55 am

I am new to raspberry pi and just started learning the same.

When I am trying to install Sqlite 3 on Raspberry Pi , I am getting the following error :

Could not resolve 'mirrordirector.raspbian.org'
W: some index files failed to download.they have been ignored or old ones used instead.

It happens periodically (those servers are busy).
Try again - make sure you've done a

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update

That means your network isn't configured correctly.

Get the results from running the following commands

ifconfig -a
ip route
ping -c3 $(ip route | awk '/default/ {print $3}')
ping -c3 8.8.8.8
ping -c3 google.com
cat /etc/resolv.conf
