I first tried to have more information about PAM Face Authentication, but it seems this is an aspect of RPI under-developped, I didn't receive any response.
So I decided to move on a RFID Log in ... Is it possible to plug a RFID reader to a RPi( I think literally yes) and use it as a session login (unlocker) ? It's for a group of searcher, to increase their comfort at work (this PC don't need a super security, it's just for stock-management) it will avoid them to login every single time they'll need to edit something on this post.. what is the supply I'll need for that ?
I think I am about to have :
- the 7" Pi Screen
- the RFID reader (I don't know yet about a 125KHz or a 53.57MHz
- a barcode scanner (for the stocks of scanned product for example) on USB (has its owniindependant supply)
what do you think about that ? how can I manage to login with RFID cards ?(the PAM directory and stuffs) how would you proceed ? if it's even possible
