Dell 2407WFP Monitor

Wed Sep 26, 2012 3:08 pm

I am new to RasPi, got mine going yesterday. I am using a Dell 2407WFP monitor, through a composite connection, and have a very poor screen resolution and the wrong proportions. Where do I configure the screen?
Not entirely new to Linux, so just point me in the right direction and I'll try my best

I've looked up your monitor and it has DVI-D in. Connect the Pi to that with an HDMI-DVI adapter for high res. Composite only supports low res.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try it when I get the chance to shop for the necessary lead.
Anyone who can tell me where the config file is for video in Pi Debian (standard)?

http://elinux.org/RPi_config.txt and http://elinux.org/R-Pi_ConfigurationFile should answer all questions
