Pi Zero W: Is there a map of what all the test pads do?

Mon May 22, 2017 6:58 pm

I turn my pi over and see a bunch of unpopulated pads at the back of the unit and think 'hey could I get away with building a thing that connects via pogo pins and has gpio header pins slide through the gpio holes so I could slot a zero in, screw it down, then unscrew if it either breaks or a better unit comes along?'

However before I start tackling 'what could i do with this setp' I'd like to know what the pads do, so are there any maps of what pad does what?

Try follow the traces and you can see/guess what a lot of them do.

Can't figure out what some do, search for the X-Ray images as well.

Also check them against the other Pi's, while they change position their function may be documented.

A serach for ' raspberrypi PP test pads ' brings up a lot. As far as I know there is no official documentation.
