What errors? You need to be connected to the Internet to install it.
There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't.

a more easy way instead USB stick could be a network connection like SAMBA
i like to make a new sub dir
/home/pi/Desktop/share/ and have it on my PCs for read write.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install -y samba samba-common-bin smbclient cifs-utils

sudo smbpasswd -a pi
# and give a new password ( for user pi ) using samba

sudo nano /etc/samba/smb.conf
# change:
   workgroup = YOUR WINDOWS WORKGROUP NAME
# add at end:
[share]
    path = /home/pi/Desktop/share
    available = yes
    valid users = pi
    read only = no
    browsable = yes
    public = yes
    writable = yes

mkdir /home/pi/Desktop/share
