How to Bypass Process During Boot

Tue Mar 28, 2017 2:38 pm

Howdy!

Using my Pi attached to an HDMI monitor, and during boot, there is a process "Raise Network Interfaces", which I assume means its looking for access to the web or some other interface which is not present. The wait on this is "unlimited", which seems to mean about two minutes. Is there a command to skip this process, using a keyboard?

Thanks,

NBUK

In the GUI version of raspi-config, on the "System" page, there is a checkbox to wait on network. Uncheck that and see what happens. (In the CLI version of raspi-config, it's in "Boot options"--item 3--on the main menu.)
