Clock is showing GMT not BST

Sun Sep 09, 2012 7:57 pm

Hi folks,

How do I change the clock in my LXDE to show BST instead of GMT. It's always an hour behind.

I'm using Raspbian Wheezy dated 16th Aug 2012.

Thanks,

Chris

LXDE time should just be system time

Since you're on Wheezy, try

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config
As discussed here:
http://elinux.org/RPi_raspi-config#CHAN ... t_timezone

If for whatever reason it doesn't work, try

Code: Select all

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
{sig} Setup: Original version Raspberry Pi (B, rev1, 256MB), Dell 2001FP monitor (1600x1200), 8GB Class 4 SD Card with Raspbian and XBMC, DD-WRT wireless bridge

Great, thanks Jeremy.

I'll give it a try.
