Power Options

I have a iPhone plug that I ain't using at the moment and am wondering if this is ok to use as a power source for the Raspberry Pi.

Yes assuming the MicroUSB cable you use with it is of higher than eBay quality as to ensure there is not a big giant voltage drop across the cable.
