Hi,

How do I upgrade Xfce 4.12? No matter what I try, it seems I'm stuck at 4.10.

Looking at your other post, you seem to be missing the underlying Operating System information from your posts.

FYI Raspbian Jessie follows Debian Jessie and therefore is consevertive regarding packages, hence why XFCE is version 4.10

FYI Arch Linux Arm is by default a CLi Operating System but adding a Desktop Environment will install the newest versions and as a rolling release will always be so. XFCE is currently version 4.12

Also Raspbian is now using Pixel, which was custom built off of XFCE. That is why you may not be getting the other Gui. Especially if your system is up to date with the latest packages.
