Temperature monitor on Jessie Pixel

Thu Oct 06, 2016 5:25 pm

Hello!

So, I had that nice panel plugin on wheezy with lxde that displayed the cpu temperature, I can't find it on jessie's pixel panel. Any idea how to bring it back?

Thanks!

Right click on taskbar --> Add/Remove Panel Items --> [Add]
Select [Temp Monitor] --> [Add]
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

Thanks for the reply! Thing is, I don't have a temp monitor in the list, is it there for you? Using latest Jessie image (with Pixel UI) here.

I am running the latest downloaed RJ (Pixel) which has been updated with sudo apt-get upgrade command.

I left out some details. When you click on the [Panel Applets] tab you will see what is currently installed on the task bar.
You then have to click [Add] button to see the list of items not yet installed. Temperature Monitor as well as several other applets are shown on that list.
After you select the new Applet and click [Add], the new applet will move to the installed Panel Applets list where you can adjust the position(s) of each applet with the [Up] or [Down] buttons.

Right click on taskbar --> Add/Remove Panel Items
Click on the tab [Panel Applets] --> [Add]
Scroll down and Select [Temperature Monitor] --> [Add]
Adjust position if needed and press [OK]
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

There has been no change to this feature and it is still there.
Carefully follow the instruction in my last post above.
