Hellp with wireless connection

Mon Sep 05, 2016 12:24 am

Hello all, I am trying to setup my Pi's wireless so I can access it with my PC. I have tried multiple setups but can't get it to work. I believe the problem lies in how I have my network setup. I have a Aris router from my cable provider that is hooked directly to my PC with a rs232 cable. My wireless router is a Net Gear Nighthawk that is connected directly to the Aris. I want to connect with the Nighthawk but am unsure how to make it work. The IP on the Nighthawk is 192.168.0.2 if that is of any help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Happy to help, but could you answer a couple of questions first?

Which Raspberry Pi model do you have?
Are you running the very latest version of Raspbian?
Can your Raspberry Pi 'see' the WiFi network?

Thanks for the responses. I have updated the Pi it is a model 3. I can connect to the internet with the Pi, just can't connect to the Pi with my PC. I am going to change the way my router is set up and see how it works.
