I used this tutorial to let the Pi boots from usb stick
1- transcend 16gb 3.0 usb
2- sandisk 64gb 3.0 usb
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... des/msd.md
PI takes a lot of time for responding
i mean while i am working on it, it takes alway a lot of time to do anything , like open folder and even when i use ssh to connect to itDougieLawson wrote:How are you measuring it? There's always a delay before the rainbow screen while the hardware decides there's no bootable SDCard and switches to searching the four USB ports for a bootable device.
That's completely irrelevant to the discussion here.fruit-uk wrote:If you want speed then use a USB HDD.
yeah acutally i boot it from BRANCH=next bootcode.bin, do u have any solution ??DougieLawson wrote:Have you stumbled on the limited RAM bug? My RPi3B is back on an SDCard because it was only getting 128MB of RAM activated when I boot it from the current BRANCH=next bootcode.bin.
Everything I did caused the system to start swapping and dying through lack of RAM.
