Hi everybody!
I'm from Romania and I don't know NOTHING about Linux. My stupid (mabe) question is if it could be possible to install WinXp on Raspberry to replace Linux. I'm more comfortable with this OS.
Thank you and excuse my ignorance.

Re: Windos XP on Raspberry Pi?
Microsoft OS will not run on the PI. CPU is too different.
Linux is not so bad it has a GUI for pointing and clicking.

Re: Windos XP on Raspberry Pi?
It is possible with Qemu (x86 emulator):

But it is unusable (9 min for XP to boot), it is only for the show

Re: Windos XP on Raspberry Pi?
There are lots of people here who know little or nothing about Linux - when they first started getting their RPi to work. There is also a lot of information about how to do simple tasks which only need a little understanding about how to use a Linux system. If you get stuck - ask on the forum. Use a clear title as this will attract the right experts to come and look to see if they can help. It is not Windows but you will be surprised what the RPi can do!

There must have been a time when you knew nothing about Windows.
Imagine how much easier it would be if you had allready known about another operating system.
