raspbmc help!!

Hi

Complete n00b here. ive got a raspberry pi and want it to run xbmc. so download raspbmc, mount on sd card and start everything up.. Success! i think as stuff comes up on screen and it starts to do stuff... thats until it says it needs to restart the device and connect to the servers.. it never connects!!! and refuses to install. am i missing something? is there another way to install it via SD?

What type of connection are you using ?
I made it without problem using a wired connection.
