Hello everyone,
I recently got a Pi and being in college I haven't been able to actually do anything with it yet (just turned it on and played around with some programming languages) and vowed to do something over summer. well summer is now here and i unpacked it from my suitcase and plugged it in and all of a sudden I only get static and a black screen. This has never happened before. Again, I am new to the Pi so any help is greatly appreciated.

Read the "not booting" sticky and then if necessary come back here with a better description of the symptoms.
