Easy Mounting RPi

Hello everybody.

I'm trying to reduce clutter in my workspace by mounting my Raspberry Pi on my wall or my desk. Since I'm not the homeowner, I can't just drill holes and stuff all willy nilly. So I got some Command velcro strips from work (I work at Staples), and I am using them to mount my Pi.

However, these strips are crud, and lose their stickiness quite easily. I was wondering if there was a more industrial grade quality product I could use in lieu of these strips. Hopefully they can be affordable too?

Really appreciate any links to product pages. Thanks.

The command velcro strips work better when both surfaces are flat.

Mount the RPi to a piece of plastic with stand-offs then attach it to the wall with the strips.

Cheers

If you check the various suppliers, you may be able to find a VESA mount that fits a Pi. Then you may be able to mount it on the back of your monitor.

Well, the bottom of the case I'm using for the Pi is completely flat. :/ I mean, I shouldn't have expected much from strips that are geared towards hanging pictures I guess.

Try those easy to remove after 3M command strips. http://www.staples.ca/en/3M-Command-Pic ... aQodCdQI1g

Those velcro strips have a high sheer strength. If what your mounting is thick (a few inches off the wall) then double the surface area of the base with a sheet of 1/4" plastic and also support any wires with other hooks.
