Keyboard configuration

Tue Feb 23, 2016 9:32 pm

Hello everyone!

I'm doing a project in raspberry pi 2 for the first time so everything seems a little confusing to me.

The first time I boot and configurated pi, I was using a monitor and a keyboard. I set the language (using nano /etc/default/keyboard) and it was working fine.

I'm controlling my raspberry pi remotely on my laptop now, and the keyboard desconfigurated again. Any ideas why?

raspi-config is not working.

What to do?

Thanks for your time,
Sofia

The keyboard setting in raspi-config only applies to the physical keyboard connected to the RPi and not the remote keyboard.
Are you using SSH or RDP / VNC? Lots of help in Google regarding setting up keyboard language in remote clients.... RDP etc.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

According to me you have to configure settings to do so...
