One red FAILED while booting up the Raspberry2
this is my third day with my new Raspberry2 - and also my third day with Linux.
(...and you guess it: my first post here! )
Fortunately I found a good book for beginners, which holds my hand while explaining the basics of the Raspberry and also starts to help me get an insight overview on the Linux structure, commands, do's and dont's, etc.
I found the SSH and VNC chapter very interesting, so I decided to implement SSH first and VNC after that, step by step.
It all works: I have access via SSH from my Win8.1-PC to the Raspberry, also the VNC shows my Pi-Desktop.
But now the trouble began (also I used, as described in the book, "xhost +localhost" on the Pi and PC to get real full access from my PC to the Raspberry). Some commands work (i.g. open the leafpad-app) but with mysterious error messages about missing display, etc.
So I switchted back at the Pi and rebooted it. And, as a shocking moment, while I watch the long list of [OK] - suddenly one [FAILED] showed up...
Maybe fixing this one will fix all my other problems... but: I just don't have ANY clue how to find out WHAT EXACTLY failed at the boot - the line scrolls up too fast for me to read anything.
Does any of you have any idea, how to find out, what failed at startup?
Thanks in advance for any help!
