So I did something stupid, while updating/upgrading with "sudo apt-get update" and after that "sudo apt-get upgrade" i had a power failure which caused a reboot and now im missing icons on the desktop and taskbar etc.

Any idea how to fix this? it probably happened while upgrading

I guess this topic can be closed or deleted, i did it again a few times and rebooted a few times and the issue has resolved itself. I see images again.
