A few simple questions

Fri Jan 01, 2016 3:28 am

Hello!

Alright so I have my 7" touchscreen set up with the Pi 2 Model B on a makeshift mount. Using the GPIO pins to power the screen and the pi together and have them connected to the official Pi power chord and a mini wireless keyboard with touchpad.

So. Now for my questions.

1. How do I make the desktop fill the entire 7" touchscreen? There are about 5mm or so on the borders that seem like the screen could fill more.

2. When I shut off the Pi the touchscreen has rainbow colours streaking across left to right and up and down. Do I have a bad screen or is this normal? They go away eventually.

3. I watched some videos on youtube of PiBorg? They show a Rasp Pi running for 48 hours or something on a few Lithium Ions I think? Or perhaps they were 4 AA's.

How many Lith Ion "double A type" batteries would be required to power the Rasp Pi Model 2 B at 75% load for 24 or even 48 hours?

(If anyone has a quick answer to Question #3 that would be awesome. I can do the conversions again and will have to eventually but I absolutely hate converting electrical units. Haha. If not I will figure it out on my own, did it once before but I've lost the math that I did. All that maH and Amp h's ,Watt h's, lol)

Thanks for any answers ahead of time!

1. disable overscan in /boot/config.txt
2. normal
3. not a clue but PiJuice https://www.pi-supply.com/product/pijui ... 16fd43adaa claims 6 hours from a 1400mAh LiPo.
