Recreating the delivered SD card

Sat Nov 28, 2015 8:59 pm

I bought the Make Deluxe Raspberry Pi starter kit, and it worked fine. It has a WiFi dongle and it fired right up. I installed a package that completely screwed it up and I could not log in anymore. So I formatted the SD card and downloaded NOOBs from the site and copied it over and installed Raspian. Now the WiFi does not work, although the ethernet does. Also the Logitec mouse that worked at fist now does not work. I have spent two days googleing and following install bogs and the WiFi almost works. My question: How do I recreate the SD card that came with it? The one I created from the NOOBs site is not the same and does not work. Any suggestions?

According to this: http://www.makershed.com/products/make- ... deluxe-kit that kit comes with NOOBS 1.4. The current version is 1.5.

The wifi should just work. There's a little applet in LXDE which can be used to control the SSID and password - you should not have to touch the command line. I'm afraid I don't have an example to hand, my PIs run other things. From memory it is in the top right hand corner of the desktop.

Cheers
