NAS on raspberry pi

Hi,

I followed one of the guides to set up samba to share hdd on the network, the problem is when I try to access Pi from my mac I can only see the folder for the user which I created during samba setup, there's a file called pistore inside the folder, nothing else, I tried everything but I can't access the network share folder. Any ideas? Thanks

I had a similar issue when I set mine up. I never figured it out, I ended just using the user pi and been like that ever since. I had intended on setting up user accounts for both my kids and my wife, but when I logged on with their user accounts no files were visible.
