Gpio touchcreen not working

Wed Sep 02, 2015 5:58 pm

Hello. Sorry for my bad english. I have bought a 3.5" lcd touchscreen for raspberry pi. When I resieved it I realiced that I have install it to my raspberry pi b+, but I can't find any firmvare that can use the screens gpio output. There appears to be no manufacturer for this produckt. When I try to run it with any firmware it only shows white screen. Could anyone please find a correct firmware for this produckt?
Here is a link for it http://m.ebay.com/itm/381370251253 . Thanks in advance Olli Peurs

Have you fully updated Raspbian ??

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo reboot
The Raspbian latest updates include Notro Drivers https://github.com/notro/fbtft/wiki though there is no need to do a rpi-update...

Start with the lastest Raspbian and undertake an update / upgrade ;)

I bought a touch screen from e-bay but it came with an OS that was customized to work with it. It had a lot of extra software on it but I liked that better than going through the trouble of installing it from scratch. I might be able to upload it to google drive or something if you want to try it.
