Slide 5: With a B+ or 2B and a 2.5" HDD in a USB carrier you may not need a powered hub. My HDD on my B+ (with max_usb_current=1 in config.txt) runs perfectly from a 2A power supply.

Apparently conflicting information:

Upper: NOOBS... needs local Operation

but

Lower: NOOBS... for headless install use "silent install"

(also, docs here https://github.com/raspberrypi/noobs#ho ... tall-an-os say the option is silentinstall )

yes, it is difficult to make it snappy, i try to find better words.
but we know what is the point,
+ noobs is a multi OS installer
+ and if you buy the RPI with the card you can even setup your
OWN FIRST COMPUTER using mama's TV

for "us" it is normal to have a computer and a card-reader
and do headless operation because we know and have full control of the router,
so noobs seems to be more of a disadvantage, but we easy forget its primary design idea.

but the 5 points in the NOOBS TRICKY WIKI ( down left )
well, i think its just good to know that that is possible,
it means digging and testing, mostly run into errors because of outdated online info
( i hope someone make that a "NOOBS special" tutorial / i would be willing to help )

but i also see the problems, like i did the silent install ( i call it "noobs noir" ) 10 times already for testing about WIFI network setup...
but i have the router, ethernet cable ... ready for fallback.
i would not want to be in the situation to really need it to run in the "dark"
