Sun Aug 23, 2015 1:42 am

I tried codeblocks but it would not compile.

#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
printf("Hello world");
}

and pls post
- how you try to compile and
- what the error msg was
because here i can edit
nano hello.cpp include your above code example, save, and compile with
g++ -std=c++0x hello.cpp -ohello
and run it with
./hello
so, your code is very good!

now for Code::Blocks IDE must find a manual
http://www.codeblocks.org/user-manual
or you must be lucky,
open new project
as / console application / C++ /
give project name / path /
comes with its ready hello world example code
compile /run ( press [F9] )
voilà
looks like http://kll.engineering-news.org/kllfusi ... #example4c

can you pls change the question / header line to:
"how to use Code::Blocks IDE for C++"
