What is the best OS for raspberry pi 2?

What is the best OS for it?
I want an OS that plays games and youtube great!

The best OS is Raspbian.

If you want to play games then it's going to depend on what kind of game. If you like arcade games look at MAME.

The nice thing about the RaspPi is that you can have multiple OS's for the price of an SD card or running multiple through NOOBs on one card. For the RaspPi 2 I find that Ubuntu Mate 15.04 runs the fastest and it is designed to work with the Pi2's ARM7 best.

If you have never used Linux before start with Raspbian and get used to Linux and then move on to another OS.

Try out a few and see which you like best - at worst, if you don't want to invest in a few micro SD cards, format the cards between installations until you come to one that does what you want it to do.

Despite you stating this in another thread, it has not been proved, someone requesting what OS to use should be pointed to Raspbian

Agreed...if someone *asks* what OS to run, the answer is "Raspbian".
