Noobs ask me for login and password

Raspbian askest for login and password.

Could someone help me?

I got my raspberry Pi yesterday and I am excited. Never actually used one.
I did try yesterday but nothing worked.

How do I get the GUI to show?
It just saids:

Type startx to get the GUI running.

Thanks for the help everyone. Fortunately I am switching to Ubuntu mate. Let's see how that one works. Raspbian is way to unstable. The quad CPU has not jumped to 100% and it gets unstable.

Most likely cause of instability is the PSU or USB cable. Raspbian is as stable as a rock.

Ubuntu MATE is not made to be installed by beginners, you may be able to trudge through it, but that's just not how's it made to be. Raspbian is the easiest and the most stable.

What makes you think it's not stable?
