Hi,

I have 2 mobile phone chargers. Here is the test result :

Voltage (GPIO pin2 and pin14)

ZTE charger: 5.18v

HTC charger: 4.94v

Which one should I choose to power Rpi ? Is the ZTE charger safe ?

Either one should be fine. Both are within the recommended range of voltage supply to the Pi (4.75 to 5.25v). I'd say that a better range would be 4.9 to 5.2v, as lower voltages can mean the supply isn't up to the job when loaded heavily.

Just make sure the voltage stays in that range when everything is plugged in and up and running.

Since you don't say which model of HTC charger, if it happens to be this type:

I would favour the ZTE one.
