You go to the Snappy Core Website and start developing "Cloud Apps & IoT Apps"

Hi all,

I followed the instruction on https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/snappy/ ... erry-pi-2/

During the first boot it asked me to press enter to configure and later it asked me to enter my email address from my account in the ubuntu store. I did import an SSH Key into my Ubuntu SSO account already. After entering my email it connected to the store and then I got the 'Configuration Complete' screen, saying that remote access was enabled via authentication with SSO user <isimorgh> .
The green 'Finish' button was highlighted so I pressed Enter.

The next screen is 'Ubuntu Core 16 on 10.0.1.125 (tty1)'
I entered my username from the SSO account, isimorgh, and my password for SSO account, but the login is incorrect!? :?
I even tried my email address as login name.

Have I done anything wrong?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, exactly same issue as the friend above.
Does anyone have an idea what we could do?

@rafapira
It seems like it's not a common incident, but I don't know how to fix it.

Hi, guys.

I'm in the same problem. I created a SSO account; I generated a SSH Key; and so I logged in Ubuntu Core with my SSO email and now I can't login on ubuntu core...

I'm looking for something and if I found, I'll post here.

Since I could not log in and was facing the same problem as you guys I used the ssh connection to create a root user with the username on the Ubuntu SSO account:

adduser username

In my case it gave a conflict saying that the username already existed. Since I couldn't figure out the password for it, I changed it:

sudo passwd username

Note: these commands were run from the ssh connection to the pi.

Hello, I have the same problem. After installation and download of SSH pub key into raspberri I cannot login from console nor ssh.

In case of ssh I am always asked to enter password which does not work.

Any help?

Thanks folks.

I wanted to give an update on the situation. I did two things:
1. Redid the SSH key as I did not use the correct format.
2. During login it might take few tries until it works well. After some time I could login without password as intended.

Cheers

What was the correct formatting for the SSH key?
