Sat Jun 19, 2021 6:28 pm

Hello I'm searching for a case that can fit a 2.5 7mm sata ssd and a 2.5 sata hdd.
If anybody has found some please let me know.

I haven't found any ITX cases for raspberry pi. Do you have any links?

ITX cases are for PC motherboards with mini ITX form factor..
it has plenty of room for RPi "B form factor" boards, 2 x 2.5" HDDs, and probably other stuff that you can stuff into it.
look for it from one of your fave online shopping sites,
or go to your nearest PC hardware shop...

if its not to your liking.... 3D printing one to your strict specifications is the next best thing

I'm not sure if the case fits all the ports.

I think it would be nice if there was a case that accommodated a Pi 4B, power supply and up to four hard disks. As far as I can tell, no such case exists. My solution was to attach everything to a block of wood.

There was a nice little 4 x 2.5 SATA CM4 NAS in the works that got bit by chip shortages.
Jeff Geerling had a video on a first version using laser cut Acrylic case and 3.5" plus cables.

Was looking at laser cutting services around my area, about $50 at the moment.
But you can get wood cut ones as well.

Seen a DIY Brass PC case that got me interested.

10x10mm extrusions seemed to me the easist DIY way

Waiting for some to make it downunder to Oz, but shipping costs double the already doubled AUD prices.

You can design your own casing using an acrylic sheet, it's low cost and you can get it designed in your desired dimensions.

All I need really is a port extender that they have on argon cases that have the full sized hdmi. So I could use the mini itx case ports and power.

I hot glued my SSD drive to the bottom of my argon 1 case.

Do you have access to a 3D printer, or know someone who does? Thingiverse.com has a bunch of pi cases including one with space to mound 1, 2 and 4 drives.

I'm typing this from a Pi4 b+ hot glued on top of a 1TB MyPassport hdd (which is hot glued to the back of a monitor itself).

Bunnings (the hardware giant) sells cheap (a couple of dollars a length) aluminium extrusions. Add some aluminium rivets and a hacksaw and you're good to go.
