Could someone help me with Pi Display? (LCD/HAT) For RaspberryPi W

Mon Jun 14, 2021 5:50 pm

Hey. I bought this cheap little hat lcd screen from amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09 ... UTF8&psc=1

I have tried installing the lcd screen using this tutorial https://github.com/goodtft/LCD-show

I have installed the drivers for the 2.4" (both sudo ./LCD24-show and sudo ./LCD24-3A+-show)

Installing on a Raspberry Pi Zero W

When installed the sudo ./LCD24-3A+-show driver the screen did change from the default white to these black vertical lines across the screen. What is going on?

Any help getting this lcd screen installed would be awesome. Thank you.

You could ask the developer/maintainer of the software for assistance directly via the Issues page of the GitHub repository you cited: https://github.com/goodtft/LCD-show/issues

Or ask the vendor. Noting that they don't actually specify that it will work with an RPi Zero board.

Any approach for help should probably mention what Operating System you are running.

just to mention -
I don't know in which country you are living, but as to EU customer protection (and probably on either Amazon platform) you have 2 weeks return rights and full refund of the purchase price if you don't like it or even can't make it work.
In that case just issue a complaint at Amazon's because the item is defective - but make sure you meet the deadlines.
(And don't forget to give a negative rating on time.)
