Problem on the wifi connection with the router

Sun May 09, 2021 3:10 pm

I have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B +, with raspbian, that has a problem on the wifi connection with the router; if the router turns off or restarts the raspberry does not reconnect and to activate the wifi connection I have to turn off the raspberry and turn it back on.
Can someone help me.

That is not normal. Have you made any changes to the standard network settings on the raspberry Pi OS running on the pi?

Maybe undo those changes so that the pi gets an ip address from the router via DHCP (i.e. not using the static ip) then test the router on/off restart ?
(The best way to get a "static ip" for your pi is to configure that in your router using the "address reservation" table or similar)
