Well ,

An Rasperry from the perspektive of amount of ram avalible been an Thin Client.

There may been different User requirements ,
and allways have an THICK OpenSuSE may not the path all Users like to have.

I may asume that will not happen for the betta Images to have Yast fully preinstalled
with X11 and i.e KDE in the same way as on x86 PC´s.
The image wuold be require at least an 4-8G sd card minimum .

For myself the Images are enoth .
Except the current kernel witch been outdated -
( miss 64G SD card support missing serveral kernel modules i require..) -
but im on the way to build my own rpi 3.75 suse kernel - not crosscompiled via CHROOT

I am still learning and can follow instructions, but on 2 attempts it goes into a loop with scrolling text.

Whilst I appreciate the efforts made, I am personally not yet ready for this, this also applies to other distros available not just OpenSUSE.

I was confused by this part as my drives do not have this identification

Chroot extras :
mount /dev/sdb2 ...i.e <your root disk /mnt
mount /dev/sdb2 ...i.e <your root disk /mnt/boot
chroot /mnt bash
mount -t proc proc proc/
mount -t sysfs sys sys/
mount -o bind /dev dev/

At the end of the day I would not need or expect KDE, but LXDE would be nice, maybe even XFCE, Slackware is a case in point as 13.37 .img is available with XFCE and it is only a 400MB download.

Anyway will watch with interest and happy to install again in the future.......................
