Getting Bluetooth working on Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+

Sun Jun 30, 2019 8:49 pm

Hi,

I was trying to get Bluetooth working on a Raspberry Pi 3 Mobel B+. After some hours of searching and testing I managed to get it working in the following way:

1. The Bluetooth needs firmware to work. I downloaded it from https://github.com/RPi-Distro/bluez-fir ... r/broadcom and then the file: BCM4345C0.hcd. Place it in the directory /libdata/firmware/bcm43xx/ . The bcm43xx directory is not standard there so it has to be created
2) After that modify the btattach.conf file in /etc/bluetooth add the following line:
bcm43xx /dev/dplcom0 921600 -FPi 115200
Uncomment the other lines
Hopefully, you will now get a working Bluetooth on the pi with NetBSD quicker then I did
I used as version :
NetBSD rpi 8.99.41 NetBSD 8.99.41 (RPI2)

Return to “NetBSD”
