Single User Mode

Fri Nov 28, 2014 11:56 am

Hello,

the usual way to run fsck in FreeBSD seems to be logging in Single User Mode and run fsck.

Bu I cannot see this option in the Raspberry Pi. I run 10.0 STABLE image:

Code: Select all

 # uname -a
FreeBSD raspberry-pi 10.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE #0 r260789: Fri Jan 31 18:40:22 UTC 2014 [email protected]:/usr/obj/arm.armv6/usr/src/sys/RPI-B arm
Any idea to run fsck safely?

Thanks, regards

Have you tried using nextboot to boot into single user mode?

Code: Select all

nextboot -D
nextboot -o "-s" -k kernel
shutdown -r now

Return to “FreeBSD”
