I know that it isn’t possible to connect to the RasPi using the root account over SSH. I need enable SSH connections via a keyboard and monitor/TV attached to the RasPi and add a new user.
My RasPi is the model B. I have written the last FreeBSD image (11.0) to a 4GB SD card using Win32DiskImager. The all light comes on, but nothing appears on the screen. The screen remains in black.
My monitor is VGA. I have connected a converter HDMI-VGA cable to the monitor, also connecting directly the RasPi to the TV by HDMI cable and also I have tried to copy other bootcode.bin and start.elf files on the boot partition (in this case only the first led is on). The result always is the same: the screen remains in black.
Which can be the problem? Thank you very much.
