I see that raspi-config is on github

https://github.com/asb/raspi-config/blo ... spi-config

Would it be useful having this available on FreeBSD?

Presumably I could run it under FreeBSD even though it wouldn't do much...

I just got hold of it and tried running 'sh raspi-config' but nothing happened at all. I didn't know what to expect but assumed that something, perhaps an error msg would pop up, but nothing..

Raspi-config is intended to work only with Raspbian and would take extensive modifications to work in anything else.
The code in your link is pretty old.
You can find raspi-config in /usr/bin/ in Raspbian OS.

Current fork of raspi-config is https://github.com/RPi-Distro/raspi-config.

It's only a bash script so if you can get it to run on FreeBSD and it does something useful there's no reason why you shouldn't do that. It's mostly mucking about with things like /boot/config.txt /boot/cmdline.txt, /etc/init.d scripts keyboard config, locale, timezone, WiFi wpa_supplicant, hostname, vnc and ssh so I don't know how much use it would be on your weird, non-Linux OS.

I just fancied a stab at getting the program running under FreeBSD. I realise it is geared towards Raspian, but some of the functions could be useful under FreeBSD. I thought I would get a menu display at least, but nothing...
