Anyone installed FreeBSD on RPi Zero W?

I recently get a PRi Zero W. It can boot with Raspbian. I'd like to try FreeBSD on it. However, it halt at U-Boot prompt. And I cannot enter any command by a USB keyboard. Please see attached photo.

I have tried several different images. All of them have the same issue.

1. official FreeBSD armv6-RPI-B image downloaded from:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/snaps ... MAGES/12.0

2. RaspBSD armv6-12.0-RPI-B image downlaoded from:
http://download.raspbsd.org/

3. A self built image by using crochet (board configuration: RaspberryPi)

Did anyone installed FreeBSD on your RPi 0 W? Any suggestions are welcome! Thnaks!

I've got exact the same issue when trying to boot my newly bought Raspberry Pi Zero W with the official FreeBSD image for RPI-B, while the Raspbian boots and works just fine.
That message only appeared on the mini-HDMI output, while the serial console remained completely silent.

If the image maintainer does not specifically mention RPi 0W then don't expect it to work.
You need to contact the image maintainer or FreeBSD forums if there is one.

Although this won't help you resolve your issue it should help you get some answers. For starters, it seems that the wireless chipset is not supported.

Thanks for the link. Apparently their is no support for RPi0 for FreeNAS. I read same issue with Open Media Vault.

I did find a link how to increase the Ethernet speed on a Raspberry Pi 1 B+ (or newer) which is necessary for NAS (faster Ethernet always better). Have not tried it but don't see why it would not work on a RPi0 since it has better specs (faster single core CPU) than a RPi1B+.
