Hello,
I was trying to put add Japanese input to Raspbian but can not seem to find directions on how to do it. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Hello,

I'm sorry for my (very) poor english.

A setup of the Japanese input is explained to this page.

http://namakemono345.com/kichijitsu/Ras ... /mozc.html
http://ngc1952.net/archives/991
http://linux99.exblog.jp/15920177

------------------------
The setting method is summarized.
1. change locale
$ sudo raspi-config

change_locale
-------------
ja_JP.EUC-JP EUC-JP
ja_JP.UTF-8 UTF-8

2. install japanese fonts
$ sudo apt-get install ttf-kochi-gothic xfonts-intl-japanese xfonts-intl-japanese-big xfonts-kaname

3. install "iBus-Anthy"
$ sudo apt-get install ibus-anthy; ibus-daemon -drx; ibus-setup

4. setup
in ibus-setup window:

select [インプットメソッド (input method)] tab
select [インプットメソッドの選択 (input method)] list
select [日本語 (Japanese)]->[Anthy] in list
select [追加 (append)] button
select [閉じる (close)] button
------------------------

I also performed this setup.
And it checked that Japanese conversion was possible.
