hello, my company has recently created a android app (.apk), and my knowledge is not abounding when it comes to raspberry pi.
Is it possible (and or easy) to re-compile the android app in question (.apk) into Java and run it as a standalone on the raspberry pi? are there any useful tools in doing so?
My thoughts are that it will be a much more efficient system, and have less malfunctions, as the program is running itself, rather than having the android system running the app and receiving tasks.
Our app is currently being used in conjunction with an android mini-pc and a IOIO board, and using the IOIO for sending signal to another pcb which has all other intakes (or data collection points)
But as i understand there are options on the raspberry pie or "extension" boards available , so a IOIO board will not be necessary? and or can i continue to use an IOIO board with the raspberry pi?
Will the raspberry pi suit my company's needs? Will porting an android app to raspberry pi through means of java work? Will i need to use a IOIO board
Thanks in advance
