Cross compiling Windows to Pi3

Thu Mar 28, 2019 10:40 pm

Hi guys,

First of all, i never worked with a raspberry pi or did cross compiling, so i have a question.

is there a toolchain i can use for cross compiling in java? My host system is windows and i have a Raspberry Pi 3 B+(OS Raspbian).
The only toolchain i found is for C++.

Thanks in advance

NetBeans works fine too, Pi is just a networked target.
Been some time since I used it for JavaFX on Pi's.

Most of the new stuff is now OpenJDK ,OpenFX etc.

Java is Java, it doesn't require anything special (you're building Java code, not machine specific code). Just have the same version on both machines, then build it on your Windows PC and copy it to your Pi (you only need JRE on the target machine).
My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?
